Rand Kaar passed away peacefully at his home in Dana Point on May 24, 2008. Rand was born on August 25, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his partner of 17 years, Joe Moreno; his sister, Karen Kaar; and nieces, Barbara Kaar and Amber Kaar. Rand is survived also by many dear friends. Rand was the most kind, caring, and loving partner, brother, son, and uncle. He was a creative, spiritual, and intelligent person who loved and enjoyed every minute of life. Rand was owner of the Real Estate Information Center in Dana Point. Rand was also an animal lover; he took great joy in caring for his dog, Oso; cat, Ewa; turtle, Tammy. Rand's smile and outgoing personality will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. He touched the lives of so many.
